Cursed bunny seamlessly merges traditional Korean folklore with contemporary speculative fiction, creating a surreal blend that feels both timeless and modern.

I really admire writers who bring twisted and wildly creative ideas to life. Though I often wonder what their close ones think when they see these stories. Cause at times I felt soooo... uncomfortable reading this book.

Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung consists of 10 creepy stories, which are incredibly clever. I actually laughed during the first story because I knew this was going to be a standout read. It's an odd reaction, considering the first story is about a creature made of human excrement demanding to be treated like a child.

Do I have any further explanations for why I loved this book so much? Just that I loved the thought-provoking issues in here. The stories dive into some seriously unsettling themes, using dark and bizarre elements to explore deeper social and psychological issues.

Overall, it was funny, engaging, and clever. And as long as I have a bunny in my house, I'm glad it’s not cursed.
